Entertaining sci-fi comedy with great special effects and plenty of chemistry between Jones and Smith.

Bad Boys 2
Big budget nonsense, which commits the fatally smug error of supposing that just about anything will acquire charm and wit merely through Will Smith's involvement. 'Bad Boys 2' is full of misfiring humour, inappropriately sadistic violence, and paddle-pool shallowness - just about its only virtue is that, though it seems to last a lifetime, it is thankfully soon forgotten.

Men In Black II
So instantly forgettable, you’ll think Agent J’s just flashed you in the eyes with that neuralizer thingy.

Jersey Girl
Surprisingly unannoying romantic (tragi)comedy about not having to be in a state just because you are in New Jersey.

I, Robot
This crowd-pleasing tale of android revolution and evolution is as sleek, efficient and dynamic as a robot - and, but for the presence of Will Smith, just as soulless.

Shark Tale
This underwater gangster-meets-gangsta CG animated feature may well have you sleeping with the fishes.

Hitch
The Fresh Prince meets the King of Queens in this predictable-but-amusing rom-com. If you’re after a chuckle at the moment, you could do much worse than to get yourself Hitched.

Independence Day
Mindless, silly, deeply-flawed, and as enjoyable as ever – there really is nothing quite like seeing your fellow Earthlings getting it right up those alien scum!

Seven Pounds
The high rating is more of a testament to the cast than the story itself—it’s decent, but Will Smith brings an extra level to this not-so-feel-good film.
