While Hartnett is a good male lead, he doesn't quite pull it off (no pun intended) successfully in this quirky movie about sex. It's not over funny and certainly nothing new. Complete with hugely predictable 'does he get the girl?' ending and over the top characters - as a romantic comedy, it succeeds at entertaining, if only barely.
Secondhand Lions
Mild, easy-going and comfortably-directed family stuff that’s just fun enough to hold the attention – but it’s also lacking a little in spark and originality.
Saw II
Not as good as the first but still good, Saw II takes us back into Jigsaw’s world and gives us even more fun and bloody stuff to look at.
