Andrea J Chee has been a journalist off-and-on for twenty years. She began her career as an entertainment features writer on the Hongkong Standard newspaper, before moving to the UK.

For the last four years, she has been working as a freelance writer and editor. She has been copy-editor/contributing author for a variety of pet/animal/veterinary books and magazines, and has also written on entertainment, business, human resources, motorsports, healthcare, IT/comms, Far East issues, conferences, and more. She has also copy- written the odd advertorial. She was the editor of the Kennel Gazette for more than two years.

Andrea is a member of the National Union of Journalists. She lives in Canterbury, England, with three dogs and two gerbils. She likes amateur film and stage, target shooting, motorsports and reading.
