The Star Trek film franchise tells of the adventures of two crews of the USS Enterprise - the 'classic' crew of Captain Kirk (William Shatner), Mr Spock (Leonard Nimoy), 'Bones' McCoy (DeForest Kelly) and company, and the Next Generation crew featuring Captain Picard (Patrick Stewart), Riker (Jonathan Frakes) and the android Data (Brent Spiner) amongst others.

Set in a time and place when many of mankind's current problems are no longer relevant, we see the crews dealing with a raft of new challenges. Pursuing their goal "to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilisations, to boldly go where no-one has gone before" leads them into new situations and into battle against a variety of threats. More than once, they will save themselves, save the world, and occasionally even save the galaxy.

This is the complete collection of films all gathered together. The movies vary in quality, ranging from the merely average to the truly outstanding. However, together they give a fascinating insight into the future as envisioned by creator Gene Roddenberry in one of the most popular media franchises ever to come into existence.
