Daniel Radcliffe stars as Harry Potter, an unfortunate boy living with his unpleasant aunt and uncle, and his spoilt fat cousin, who let him sleep in the cupboard under the stairs and treat him with contempt. Much to his surprise, on his birthday a message is brought to him from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry by a giant of man called Hagrid (Robbie Coltrane) - it seems Harry's dead parents were actually practitioners of magic, and Harry too is a wizard.
Hagrid helps Harry prepare for school, and soon he is away, catching the Hogwarts Express with the other students of his new school. Harry discovers that it was an evil wizard called Valdemort (Ian Hart) who killed his parents, and who also tried to kill him. He soon meets Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) and Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) who will become firm friends with him. However, Harry finds that he has more to deal with than just the challenges of learning to perform acts of magic and play quiddich. The evil Valdemort is back and this time he is going to find Harry Potter in his way.
This is a fine adaptation of the work of JK Rowling. Although much of the detail from the books is missing due to time constraints, the meat of the story is very much there, and fans of the books are unlikely to be disappointed. The three young stars do a workmanlike job of acting as young wizards, and the incredibly strong supporting cast bring a great deal of colour and life to the characters. Hogwarts in particular looks fabulous, and viewers of all ages will find themselves wishing they went to school there.

I enjoyed the movie a great deal, I hope that others do too. It is one of the few movies today that I think children can see without their parents worrying about too much Violence, Adult Language, and other stuff that in inappropriate for children. The books and movies are not just for entertainment but to open imaginations throughout the world.

JK ROWLING Kills Off One of HARRY POTTER Main Characters JK Rowling's rags to riches success is a testament to women who wish to drag themselves out of the doldrums of poverty to a net value more than the Queen of England. Her Harry Potter books are classics, and no doubt, this new edition to the series will be a huge success as well. Everyone is wondering who Rowling is killing off this week. Is it Harry, Ron or Hermione? Another book that's causing quite a stir in the bookworld is NO GREATER DECEPTION by Sydney Newman Dotson. It's a rags to riches story of a different nature. CAROLYN 101 of Donald Trump's APPRENTICE Paves the Way for Other Women to Succeed. The Woman Behind Louis Gerstner at IBM tells her true story in the #1 bestseller NO GREATER DECEPTION A True Texas Story. HE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU authors Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo of SEX IN THE CITY became an overnight bestseller due to starring on the OPRAH WINFREY SHOW last week. OPRAH has made many new authors millionaires like herself by showcasing their books to her audience. Sydney Newman Dotson is standing in the wings hoping she'll be the next author invited on OPRAH'S SHOW. "Making the Top 10 Bestseller Lists is wonderful. Becoming the number one true crime biography is outstanding," says Dotson. "My book should appear on Oprah's Book Club, the Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Washington Post and USA Today Bestseller Lists shortly. It takes about a week for them to catch up with Amazon and Barnes & Noble sales rankings." Despite waves of publicity and a rock-star reception at all her booksignings, Barnes & Noble, Borders and Books a Million Bookstores were not prepared to meet the demand for Dotson's true story. Customers were often told the book is "not in stock" or "not available." Residents in Chicago, Houston, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Florida and Atlanta said they called ahead to make sure the book was in stock, then nabbed a copy on Amazon or B&N.com. Former IBM Director of Corporate Business Intelligence, Sydney Newman Dotson, is a corporate spy turned detective in " NO GREATER DECEPTION, A TRUE TEXAS STORY." Dotson's family's friends make them anything but normal. Was it normal for Joe Bonanno to show up at their home? Just how involved was their father in the gambling and prostitution rings along the Galveston Bay? Were his connections to President George Bush, Lyndon Johnson, Lady Bird and Joe Bonanno much deeper than they seemed? Was he involved in the JFK assassination? "Deceased victims of identity theft cannot come back from the dead to defend themselves," says Dotson. "It leaves the victims' children to seek justice on their deceased relatives behalf." "My stepmother had a brilliant scheme. She opened a number of bank accounts in my father's name. The forged signature on the checks matched the signature on the forged will she produced for my father." What the two sisters' forensic handwriting expert, Mrs. Higgins, discovers will send chills up and down your spine. Their lives are in danger and they may have a black widow serial killer on their hands. "NO GREATER DECEPTION, A TRUE TEXAS STORY" is available on Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble.com www.NoGreaterDeception.com Contact: Sydney Dotson Productions, 214-358-3080

1. It's VOLDEMORT not VALDEMORT. 2. Harry Potter movies are HORRIBLE! They ruin the book! Daniel Radcliffe is cute whatever, but THE MOVIES RUIN THE BOOK!

J.K. Rowling's work is simply amazing, and the film translations of the Harry Potter epic do justice to the popular books. The special effects are incredible, and children love to watch them (and then rush out to buy the next books). Anything that makes children read more can't be bad at all! I really enjoyed this film.
